      Thank you for being here. I'm Juliette, writing under the pen name J.B. Zarza. As a wife, mom, and children's author, I believe stories have a beautiful way of bringing families together, sparking imagination, and leaving little pieces of wisdom in young hearts.

       Every book I write begins with heart. My hope is that each story encourages confidence, nurtures kindness, celebrates curiosity, sparks imagination, and reminds every child that what makes them different is often what makes them shine. Whether it's a laugh with Mocha, a lesson from La Tinita, or a story still waiting to be written, I hope these pages become memories your family treasures long after the final page is turned.

Curls
   I'm a curious little girl, and I'd love to share my story with you.
    Some days my hair is curly. Some days it's straight. Other days, it falls somewhere beautifully in between.
    As I explore the many ways I can wear my hair, I learn that I do not have to choose one version of myself over another.
    My hair is part of what makes me unique, and the way I choose to wear it is entirely up to me.

Hi! It is so great to see you here.

Behind the pen name J.B. Zarza, I am simply a wife, mom, and lifelong dreamer who has always loved telling stories.
​
For years, I have enjoyed writing poems and children's stories. It has been a long-time dream of mine to turn the words I've carried in my heart into books that families can hold in their hands. Life was busy—raising a family, keeping up with daily responsibilities, and learning that some dreams simply take time to craft.
​
Today, my heart is so happy to finally share those dreams with you. Whether you know me personally or we've just met through these pages, having you here is also part of that dream.
​
Every story I write is created with one hope: that every child who reads my books will feel seen, encouraged, and reminded that who they are is already enough. And for the grown-ups reading beside them, I hope my stories are a gentle reminder that perseverance, kindness, and believing in ourselves are gifts we're never too old to hold onto. Every book is an opportunity to see the world through each other's eyes.

But beyond the stories themselves, I also hope my own journey reminds you to never give up on your dreams. If my story encourages even one person to keep going, then every late night, every revision, and every step of this journey has been worth it.
